Who Are We? What Is The Landing Zone?

Having retired as an Army Colonel with in excess of thirty-two years in uniform, it has been our dream to own and operate an RV Park. The name "Landing Zone" was chosen because of our affiliation with the Army Aviation and obtaining the distinction of "Master Army Aviator". In addition to Aviation, we completed many years in "Combat Engineer" units where we learned to work hard, complete tasks on time and not to be afraid to get dirty. You will notice a military flare to our park. We think that you will enjoy it and, besides, we are too old to learn to speak civilian!

Our RV sites are called pads to mirror helicopter touchdown pads within the Landing Zone. These pads are named after family and friends. Some of the pads are named after soldiers who inspired us with their total dedication to the freedoms of this country and who sacrificed all in the defense of those freedoms.
